And if anyone tells you it is one thing, don&#8217;t listen to them: there&#8217;s lots to learn, and the list gets longer the longer you are married.<!--more|inline--><br \/>\nPotent blog of the week: <a href=\"http:\/\/spearszacharias.bravejournal.com\/entry\/16941\">Karen is at her best here<\/a>. If you don&#8217;t know, read this by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.markdroberts.com\/#mar106\">Mark Roberts<\/a>.<br \/>\nEmerging at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/magazine\/article\/0,9171,1167737-1,00.html\">Time magazine<\/a>? I agree: something <a href=\"http:\/\/sportsillustrated.cnn.com\/2006\/olympics\/2006\/02\/25\/american.antics.ap\/index.html?cnn=yes\">needs to be done <\/a>about the behavior of athletes, Olympic or not.<br \/>\n3. Jordon Cooper is a great blogger, and I got my idea of Blogs of the Week from him. From him I get this discussion on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/innovate\/content\/feb2006\/id20060224_155318.htm\">future of blogging<\/a>. (BTW, it&#8217;s got a good future.)<br \/>\n4. No desire to blog again about homosexuality, but I&#8217;m with <a href=\"http:\/\/thegreatgiveaway.blogspot.com\/2006\/02\/mclaren-driscoll-exchange-on.html\">David Fitch <\/a>on this one.  He asks the right question after he states what he learned from Driscoll and McLaren.<br \/>\n5. From <a href=\"http:\/\/nationalreview.com\/kurtz\/kurtz200602220826.asp\">Brad Boydston<\/a>: It is OK to tell us that the Swedes may end marriage, but just don&#8217;t tell Jack van Impe.<br \/>\n6. Br. Maynard has a nice post about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.subversiveinfluence.com\/wordpress\/?p=603#comments\">emerging theology<\/a>.  He thinks there could be rise in theological meeting of minds and a commitment to praxis over doxis.<br \/>\n7. Ted Gossard&#8217;s thoughts on <a href=\"http:\/\/communityofjesus.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/ecumenicalism.html\">ecumenicalism<\/a> &#8212; not just one kind.<br \/>\n8. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.larknews.com\/guide\/test.html\">Lark News<\/a>, I&#8217;m in a backslidden condition (my score: 55, and it could have been 45).<br \/>\n9. I&#8217;m no fan of a regular diet of sarcasm &#8212; ever read <em>Father Joe<\/em>? &#8212; but this story of the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.larknews.com\/march_2006\/secondary.php?page=2\">Testimony Bee <\/a><\/em>over at Lark News is a hoot. I&#8217;ve seen this sort of thing.<br \/>\n10. Lightning has just begun a series on <a href=\"http:\/\/churchbrew.blogspot.com\/2006\/03\/co-pastoring-pt1.html\">co-pastoring with his wife<\/a>; he was recently asked to minister somewhere and he discussed co-pastoring, etc., with them&#8230; and this post begins what will surely be a nice series on women in ministry.<br \/>\n11. China Doll Pitchers: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailyherald.com\/sports\/sportsstory.asp?id=162705\">Story #1<\/a> of 2006.<br \/>\nI have no desire here to offend friends or foes, but I&#8217;m no fan of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2006\/EDUCATION\/03\/02\/homeschool.growth.reut\/index.html\">home-schooling <\/a>&#8212; maybe because my father was a public school teacher, family members are public school teachers, and &#8230; well, other things come to mind. Why do you think parents decide to homeschool? Anyone know a study on this?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2006\/03\/03\/technology\/rimm_ntp\/index.htm?cnn=yes\">Blackberry News<\/a>:  They&#8217;ve (RiM) settled for $612 million, and (shock of all shocks) now announce they&#8217;ll have to reduce their projected earnings for the fourth quarter.
