O Lord, you have taught us that without love whatever we do is worth nothing:
\nSend your Holy Spirit and pour into my heart your greatest gift, which is love,
\nthe true bond of peace and of all virtue, without which whoever lives is
\naccounted dead before you. Grant this for the sake of your only Son Jesus
\nChrist, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and
\nfor ever. Amen. ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Some of us did not go up in prayer book traditions so we either are armed against them (many times without ever having used one) or almost completely unaware of them. I was one of the former and, until I studied the Shema and landed on the Jesus Creed, had very little experience with them other than a year in England when we prayed with the Anglicans and The Book of Common Prayer: And Administration of the Sacraments and Other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church<\/a>\"\"
