I begin with Tom Smith and Trevor Hudson, who drove to Rustenburg from Johannesburg area to chat and eat lunch with Kris and me at the home of Nic and Magriet. Here is a picture of Tom and Trevor and me conversing about what theology looks like in South Africa &#8230; I confess to being all ears on this one.<!--more|inline--><br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0089.JPG\" title=\"img_0089.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2008\/05\/img_0089.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"img_0089.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAttie explaining to me the ins and outs of Reformed theology&#8230; 8)<br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0127.JPG\" title=\"img_0127.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2008\/05\/img_0127.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"img_0127.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nTheo had to examine four bottles of wine before he knew which would be best for the Stormer game. He settled on de Trafford Cab 2003. The best wine I&#8217;ve ever had &#8230; and Theo&#8217;s knowledge of rugby made our evening fantastic.<br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0232.JPG\" title=\"img_0232.JPG\"><img alt=\"img_0232.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIn Stellenbosch, I lectured to some pastors and professors and students, and afterwards had an amazing cup of latte with Jeremy Punt, a professor of NT at Stellenbosch, along with Attie, Renate and Kris.<br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0233.JPG\" title=\"img_0233.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2008\/05\/img_0233.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"img_0233.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nNic prayed for us while we were in Stellenbosch and we usually ended the evening chatting in the living room:<br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0258.JPG\" title=\"img_0258.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2008\/05\/img_0258.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"img_0258.JPG\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAnd finally, Attie, my new pastor friend in Rustenburg &#8230; <a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/img_0261.JPG\" title=\"img_0261.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2008\/05\/img_0261.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"img_0261.JPG\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We met so many new friends in South Africa, but I have to include some pictures of a few.
