Their twins are non-stop feeders and are keeping both of them up at night and busy during the day. So, Kris and I held the two kids from 9am to 2pm &#8212; fed them and changed them and then I was the first to read a book to Zion.<!--more|inline--><br \/>\nJoel didn&#8217;t want me to read <em>Jesus Creed<\/em> or Martin Hengel&#8217;s new WUNT volume so I read Zion a Dr. Seuss book about feet. Within a few years Joel and Karla will be sick of this book, but their kids will love it forever.<br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/sweet-peas-001.jpg\" title=\"sweet-peas-001.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/sweet-peas-001.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"sweet-peas-001.jpg\" \/><\/a><a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/sweet-peas-002.jpg\" title=\"sweet-peas-002.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/2007\/06\/sweet-peas-002.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"sweet-peas-002.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWell, as it turns out, we bought books for all four of them. Since Karla (and Joel) seem to be getting up at night &#8212; often (God bless them) &#8212; we gave to Karla a copy of Phyllis Tickle&#8217;s new book on <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abunga.com\/details\/?ean=9780195306712&amp;affkey=826D777A-128C-465B-8B07-B193508149DB\">The Night Offices<\/a><\/em>. She is one of the only ones I know up when those night offices are said! To which we added Yancey&#8217;s new book on <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abunga.com\/details\/?ean=9780310271055&amp;affkey=826D777A-128C-465B-8B07-B193508149DB\">Prayer<\/a><\/em>. And we got Joel the Pope&#8217;s new book on <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abunga.com\/details\/?ean=9780385523417&amp;affkey=826D777A-128C-465B-8B07-B193508149DB\">Jesus<\/a><\/em> and Ron Martoia&#8217;s new book <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuscreed.org\/?p=2488\">Static<\/a><\/em>.<br \/>\nSince, we reasoned, they won&#8217;t have much to do but watch two newborns, down time for reading would come easy.<br \/>\n8)  8) 8) 8)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday Kris and I drove down to the City to give Joel and Karla Willitts some relief.
