The Prayer of St. Francis<\/em>:
\nLord, make me an instrument of your peace.
\nWhere there is hatred let me sow peace;
\nwhere there is injury let me sow forgiveness;
\nwhere there is doubt let me sow faith;
\nwhere there is despair let me give hope;
\nwhere there is darkness let me give light;
\nwhere there is sadness let me give joy.
\n0 Lord, grant that I may not try to be comforted, but to comfort,
\nnot try to be understood but to understand,
\nnot try to be loved but to love.
\nBecause it is in giving that we receive,
