Kris and I drove to Freeport to see my father and both of our mothers on Saturday. My father recently had back surgery, my mother ankle surgery, and we were glad to see them moving around better. We went out for dinner, and afterward took this picture. Happy Father’s Day, dad.

\nSunday morning we went to church with my daughter, Laura, and her husband, Mark. Then we went to a local place in Arlington Heights. It was wonderful seeing everyone. Laura and Mark gave me a bag full of Italian cooking supplies. Thanks Laura and Mark. Luke gave me a call during the afternoon; he was on his way home from a game he was scouting in Erie, Pennsylvania. He saw the Erie SeaWolves lose to Harrisburg, 17-8.
