Happy New Year!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve always loved this holiday…so many possibilities…so much hope
<\/strong><\/em>for this fresh new year laid out and waiting in front of us!<\/p>\n

Let’s embrace the positive force of new beginnings! <\/strong>Lots of us are spending time now thinking about what we want to change: lose 20 pounds? Stop procrastinating? Keep an organized home?<\/p>\n

While planning and committing to doing what you need to do to be happier and healthier is, of course, a great thing…it’s also important to spend as much (if not more) time taking stock of and being grateful for all the good things we already have. <\/p>\n

Psychologists and life coaches agree that when we choose to focus on the positive, we live more positive lives, and we are blessed with even more positive things!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve definitely seen that in my own life.  The best things seem to come from “out of the blue” when I’m not cutting into family time or driving myself nuts pushing to get ahead.  <\/p>\n

I have absolutely found that good things come when you stay true to what’s in your heart.  And moving through life with that feeling of purpose brings such joy!<\/p>\n

So, YES! think about and write down those goals for this new year, but make sure they are things you are passionate about—things you truly want.<\/p>\n

If you do that, you’re way ahead from the start, because “working” toward those kinds of goals won’t feel like work at all.<\/p>\n
