Today, President Obama nominated Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court.  In his introduction of her, he lauded her professional accomplishments, her love for the New York Mets and that she seeks to understand before she disagrees.<\/p>\n

I had the privilege this weekend of introducing Elisa Morgan<\/a> before she spoke to our congregation this Mother’s Day weekend.  I pointed out that she has shared God’s love to arena’s full of thousands, written fifteen books, and served as the president of MOPS International for twenty years.  But professional accomplishments fall short so I included what mattered most, “She is a wife, mother, grandmother and lover of God.”<\/div>\n
