<\/span>We are as much Modern as we are Post-modern.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>Modernity has taken root as it pertains to urbanization, economics, individualism and science.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>Post-modern in that we hunger for relationships while simultaneously making less long term commitments.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>The American Dream has allowed us to enjoy unprecedented affluence, causing us to be loved and despised around the world.<span>&nbsp; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong>The LIE is alive as many are living lives that are\u2026<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong><em>L<\/em><\/strong>ost<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong><em>I<\/em><\/strong>solated<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong><em>E<\/em><\/strong>mpty<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Then there is that original American invention known as \u201crace.\u201d<span>&nbsp; <\/span>The church is spending a lot of time trying to answer the question, \u201cWhat does it mean to be Post-Modern?\u201d<span>&nbsp; <\/span>When we have not even addressed what it means to be \u201cPost-Movement.\u201d<span>&nbsp; <\/span>Civil rights that is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>The <\/p>\n<p>church<\/p>\n<p> of <\/p>\n<p>Christ<\/p>\n<p> faces many challenges in <\/p>\n<p>America<\/p>\n<p>, we are losing ground\u2026but our Lord said that the gates of hell will not prevail.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>That assumes that we have discerned how to reach the culture in which we have been placed.<span>&nbsp; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>The average follower of Christ needs a Domestic Missiology.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s hard to know where to begin when it comes to describing the culture in which we are immersed.&nbsp;
