He goes on to argue that our goal in finding the hidden things of God is not to remove the mystery in the process. Lucas says that we need, "faith that is willing to believe what God says even if it seems contradictory." <\/p>\n
I find this so refreshing because so much of what Christians try to do is to resolve anything that seems contradictory in our Bibles. As soon as we see two passages that seem to contradict we work hard to prove why they are a "seeming" or "apparent" contradiction. <\/p>\n
On the one had this has given us a Bible that we can believe in, but on the other hand, has it removed the reasons to believe in the God it proclaims?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
