There have been many books on reconciliation over the years and Ed&#8217;s work stands tall among them.&nbsp; As a pastor of a multi-ethnic church with a passion for the Body of Christ to display the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17, I needed to read this book.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I get weary from the call.&nbsp; Other times I forget how much I really do believe that one of the signs of the kingdom in this country is the breaking down of racial barriers so that we may reflect the manifold creative glory of our God.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jazztheologian.typepad.com\/.shared\/image.html?\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/08\/16\/edgilbreath.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"84\" alt=\"Edgilbreath\" src=\"https:\/\/jazztheologian.typepad.com\/findingthegroove\/images\/2007\/08\/16\/edgilbreath.jpg\" width=\"100\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Ed is editor at large for Christianity Today and editor of Today&#8217;s Christian.&nbsp; I found him to be a kindred spirit&#8211;a brother from another mother&#8211;so to speak.&nbsp; Not only were we born in the same year but we shared similar experiences when it comes to church and education.&nbsp;
