(p2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&quot;Call and response &quot; is a halmark in jazz.&#160; Because it was birthed in the post-slavery church jazz took on the characteristics of it&#039;s parents.&#160; Musicians use their instruments use their to affirm and encourage each other just as congregation responds to the call of the preacher.&#160; In ensemble community we call and respond to each other as we help each other find our groove.&#160; Habakkuk shows us that God also desires a call and response relationship with us too.<\/p>\n<p>If you didn&#039;t read the comment section in the last post, Sherman said it well&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Man I love Habakkuk&#8230;A man not hiding behind a veneer of &quot;holiness&quot; but being real with God&#8230;Why do you allow this mess to happen&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>And then when God answers&#8230;Habakkuk has the audacity to answer back&#8230;&quot;I don&#039;t think your answer is in line with your own principles&#8230;How can you who can&#039;t even look at evil allow such an evil nation to overtake those who are more righteous than they&#8230;&quot;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>And then God says, I will take care of things.
