Both the people and the topography of this land are beautiful.&#160; I have had so many wonderful conversations with those who have shared stories of life before and after apartheid.&#160; By the way, South Africans woke up this morning to the news that their president (Mbeki) has &quot;resigned.&quot;&#160; This is being called the most important week politically since Nelson Mandela was elected.&#160; People are a bit nervous but trusting that democracy will prevail.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jazztheologian.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c63c953ef010534b9bba8970b-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSCN0066\" class=\"at-xid-6a00d8341c63c953ef010534b9bba8970b \" src=\"https:\/\/www.jazztheologian.com\/.a\/6a00d8341c63c953ef010534b9bba8970b-320wi\" \/><\/a> Today, I spoke for the first of five times about the cross being a way of life (with the assistance my interpreter, Jules, who translated into French)&#8230;saw a zebra, a herd of impala&#039;s, some monkeys, and a really big&#160;spider\/scorpion kind of&#160;bug&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It&#039;s wonderful here but I really miss my family.&#160;
