An hour ago, at least two bombs were detonated at the site of the Boston Marathon. Of course, information continues to come in, but some reports are that the bombs had ball bearings. That is classic jihadist terrorist.

This reminds me of the terror Israel has endured since the (in)famous Oslo Accords were signed. In the few years following that hoped-for peace effort, Islamist terrorists detonated bombs in crowded public areas, including Ben Yehuda Street, an outdoor shopping are in Jerusalem. I’ve been there.<\/p>\n

A few years ago, I toured the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, north of Tel Aviv. Among the exhibits are captured weaponry and propaganda materials from the Palestinian territories. Americans have no real idea just how bloodthirsty the jihadists are, but tragically, we have now seen the first such attack on American soil.<\/p>\n

Prediction: in the coming days, there will be plenty of Western media and political sources that will minimize the prospect of jihadist terror. Don’t be fooled. <\/p>\n

One wonders just how long it will take for some of us to get it. The jihadists are virtually shouting their involvement at us.

I listened to a talk by Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy (www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org), last Thursday evening at Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Gaffney, criticized by certain sources in the U.S., actually understands reality. Gaffney has much information regarding the terror threat.<\/p>\n
