My last post\u2014just before a trip to Israel\u2014was a classic example of the fallibility of man.<\/p>\n

I predicted Mitt Romney would win.<\/p>\n

I thought a great deal about this the morning I read that Obama has won re-election. I’d been so sure he wouldn’t!<\/p>\n

Still, it provided me a great opportunity to bask once again in the majesty of the living God, whose predictions are always true.<\/p>\n

Sitting on the balcony of my hotel, just outside Jerusalem, I set aside the laptop and the bad news, and opened my Bible to Jeremiah 31. There, the Lord repeats his ubiquitous promise to bring the Jews back to their ancestral land in the last days. I looked up and gazed across the valley at a cluster of Jewish homes on the mountains of Israel.<\/p>\n

Although Bible prophecy is marginalized and mocked (and just plain hated!) by an increasing number of\u2014are you ready for this\u2014Christian leaders in America\u2014they are thumbing their noses at the Almighty.<\/p>\n

His fulfilled promises are everywhere, and right in front of those thumbed noses.<\/p>\n

This should be the greatest indication that God is alive and active in our world today. It is for me.<\/p>\n
