“Only those who are unfamiliar with the statements of the Bible itself will be impressed by the oft-repeated claim of the critics that their theory regarding prophecy is based on a careful, objective, and scientific study of the biblical data.” (Oswald T. Allis, The Unity of Isaiah)<\/p>\n

It is striking that as the teaching of Bible prophecy declines in the American Church\u2014due in large part to church-growth techniques combined with liberal influences\u2014prophecies of the last days grow more pronounced (we see this most clearly in the presence of Israel in our world).<\/p>\n

The great scholar Oswald Allis\u2014who taught and wrote ahead of the dispensationalism of Hal Lindsey and so would not have identified with that view\u2014believed that the Bible’s predictive prophecy is true.<\/p>\n

A huge story today is that much of our national church leadership does not.<\/p>\n
