“And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein…” <\/p>\n

Zechariah 2:4 is a most interesting prophecy, often overlooked, especially by skeptics. The prediction is that one day, many of Jerusalem’s inhabitants would live outside the city walls. <\/p>\n

This was absurd 2,500 years ago\u2014who would leave the protection of the thick city walls? Yet in the mid-19th century it happened. Today, one can visit the site of the first dwellings built outside the walls, and of course, modern Jerusalem is a thriving metropolis.<\/p>\n

From the photo attached, one can see these dwellings, and to the right, the Old City walls.<\/p>\n
