Assyria, Babylon&#8230;the Nazis.<\/p>\n<p>A fresh wave of Palestinian terrorism has been launched against the state of Israel in the last century, virtually unabated. Yet as I often teach, Isaiah 54 tells us that God promises no weapon formed against the Jews will succeed.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of rocket and mortar attacks from Gaza have been launched since Hosni Mubarak was forced from office in Egypt (the Egyptians did a moderately good job of controlling the flow of arms to terrorists in Gaza and the Sinai).<\/p>\n<p>My favorite subject is this: the Bible is true because it is self-authenticating and it reflects reality in our world today. Even though Israel faces many enemies, I am not ashamed to say that I believe Scripture is true. Israel will not be defeated or obliterated by any foreign power. Iran? Please. Antiochus Epiphanes was arrogant once, too.<\/p>\n<p>The Palestinians might be developing more advanced weaponry, but in the end, it will not succeed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/237\/2011\/11\/Palestinian-weapons.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/237\/2011\/11\/Palestinian-weapons.jpg\" alt=\"Kassam rockets, like the ones fired at Israel from Gaza today\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-297\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is historically obvious that Israel&#8217;s many enemies have all gone the way of the dodo bird.
