Earlier this summer, Inspiring Athletes caught up with Farris who said a spiritual renewal fueled his journey to London:<\/p>\n

“From about the age of 16 to 22 is when I struggled the most, even after making an Olympic Team,” Farris said. “In 2008 I was living the lifestyle when it was convenient for me but by the end of the year I had rededicated my life to Christ and I haven\u2019t looked back.”<\/p>\n
