\"\"<\/a>We are often told that a small act of kindness goes a long way. Random acts of kindness can deliver a quick high, but they have less chance of furthering relationships or building the kingdom. Deliberate acts of kindness are a different story.<\/p>\n

On day 7 of the days of service challenge, complete one deliberate act of kindness. This is the kind of gift that holds more power and impact than a random good deed. This is the kind of act that tells someone that you know them. It tells them that you notice their needs. It also demonstrates that you are willing to make a sacrifice on their behalf.<\/p>\n

These specific acts of kindness are meaningful and should be something we feel called to do. The Bible talks about the way God favors us. Our Heavenly Father doesn\u2019t just do random acts of kindness. The acts He does are very intentional and precise.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells us, \u201cAnd God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus\u201d (Ephesians 2:6-7). Remember, God\u2019s ultimate act of kindness, sending His only Son to the world to redeem humanity.<\/p>\n

To complete this task, pay attention to the needs of a special person in your life. What is something that makes them smile or stresses them out? Are they in need of a little extra encouragement? Whatever intentional act of kindness you complete should keep this very thing in mind. There may be a person in your life that needs to be bailed out of something. They may have found themselves in an unexpected jam and need a little rescuing. Consider whether you\u2019re in a place to give. These acts can require planning and research, but the intentionality will matter more in the end than anything.<\/p>\n
