San Diego woman Shantel Carrillo was shocked when she saw her latest sonogram photo, which revealed an image of a man kissing her daughter. Carrillo believes the ultrasound was showing an image of her late father.<\/p>\n
Carrillo was excited to see a profile shot of her baby at five months pregnant. It wasn’t until she posted the image on social media that she realized the shadow of a man, after people began to comment that they could see “an angel”.<\/p>\n
\u201cI posted the ultrasound,” Carrillo told NBC San Diego, “and right when I posted it, like 30 seconds later, someone’s like, \u2018There’s an angel kissing your baby!\u2019”<\/p>\n
Carrillo posted the image, alongside one of her father holding her older daughter when she was born, to Reddit, where it quickly went viral. The resemblance to her father, she says, is uncanny.<\/p>\n
“It has his nose, his little chubby cheeks, his little double chin, and my dad wore a hat like all the time. It looks like the bill of his hat and his lips are just touching hers so perfectly,” said Carrillo.<\/p>\n
Carrillo\u2019s dad Chuck passed away suddenly in 2016. She was his only daughter and her daughter was his only granddaughter, until now.<\/p>\n
While he is not here for the pregnancy, Carrillo now feels that her father isn’t too far away.<\/p>\n
