You have probably heard the questions before: do dogs go to heaven?<\/p>\n
Pope Paul IV once said that \u201cParadise is open to all God’s creatures.\u201d This leaves many hopeful that they will one day be reunited with their pet when they also pass away. The Bible even supports this theory. Isaiah 11:6 hints that our pets will be with us in heaven. It says: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” How great is that.<\/p>\n
The Bible talks about animals frequently. In 2 Samuel 12:3 there is a parable the prophet Nathan told to King David. He said, \u201cThe poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him.\u201d Pets really do become a part of the family. They live with us, sleep with us, and eat with us. No matter what goes on in life our dogs will always be there. Pets really are our best friends.<\/p>\n
When we then lose that family member, it changes our world. How are we supposed to go on? Christians can find comfort in knowing that their beloved pet is running around up in “puppy heaven” having the time of their life. Losing a dog is such a heartbreaking experience for any family to go through, so to know that God can send you a sign letting you know your dog is A-OK. God has been known to do some incredible things and miracles are happening every single day.<\/p>\n
