Wow, so much I would want to tell the younger me — especially myself from junior high and high school when I thought the world was crashing in on me. I’d love to encourage her and tell her that things will get so much better, that she won’t be lonely forever and that the things that make her different will one day be appreciated. I’d love to spoil all the surprises and tell her that she’ll accomplish things she never dreamed possible and enjoy her life as a daring, messy yet beautiful adventure.<\/p>\nSo much to say. But I summed it all up in one sentence.<\/p>\n“Dear Younger Self, don’t even worry about it.” That goes for everything. What I’d do with my life, who I’d love, who would love me, where I’d go and who wouldn’t be going with me. Don’t even worry about it. It’s amazing how many of those things I was concerned about worked themselves out. I don’t carry too many regrets from life, but I always regret time spent worrying.
