It was a graduation moment unlike any other\u2014one filled with laughter, love, and unmistakable joy.<\/p>\n

On May 8, Clemson University President Jim Clements was joyfully bowled over by his daughter Grace during a life-changing moment at the school\u2019s graduation ceremony. The heartwarming encounter, captured in a now-viral video, took place as students from the ClemsonLIFE program\u2014a special initiative for students with intellectual disabilities\u2014walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.<\/p>\n

Grace, President Clements\u2019 youngest daughter and a graduate of the ClemsonLIFE program, ran into her father\u2019s arms with such enthusiasm that they both tumbled to the ground, still smiling from ear to ear.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was pure joy,\u201d Clements later told Today<\/em><\/a>. \u201cTotal and complete happiness, to see this girl, our beautiful daughter, run across the stage and literally leap into my arms. It was magical.\u201d<\/p>\n

The scene touched hearts around the world and was even more meaningful knowing the bond between father and daughter. \u201cYou missed me!\u201d Grace teased him during their joint interview. \u201cI did miss you,\u201d Clements replied with a laugh. \u201cBut then when we fell, we helped each other up.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI wanted to turn her to the audience and let everyone see how beautiful and amazing she is. Then, I wanted to give her a big huge hug to let her know how much I love her.\u201d<\/p>\n
