The veteran actor recently shared that the most important advice he ever received came from his father, iconic actor Lloyd Bridges: \u201cJust to respect people.\u201d<\/p>\n

That simple principle has guided Beau\u2019s decades-long Hollywood career\u2014and now it\u2019s shaping the next generation.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Fox News Digital at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Beau reflected on how his father\u2019s wisdom shaped not only his career but also his family. \u201cThat\u2019s what his main thing was,\u201d Beau said, standing beside his son, Ezekiel Bridges, as they promoted their upcoming film Welcome to Klyde\u2019s Kitchen.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel, who stars in the film alongside his father, shared that working with Beau has always been natural. \u201cHe was my coach in everything back in the day, from soccer to basketball, so it\u2019s no different here,\u201d he said. More than just a father-son project, the film represents three generations of storytelling grounded in a shared moral foundation.<\/p>\n

Beau added, \u201cMy dad started working with family a long time ago. We all like to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Welcome to Klyde\u2019s Kitchen tells the redemptive story of a young business executive (played by Ezekiel) who is sentenced to community service at a homeless center after a DUI. There, he meets a homeless man (Beau) and a compassionate manager (Sana Saeed), who help him see the value of caring for those society often overlooks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a movie about caring for the forgotten,\u201d Beau said, highlighting a theme that mirrors the very values he grew up with and passed on to his children.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel echoed that, noting that respect can take many forms: \u201cRespect for the ocean, respect for the planet, respect for the work.\u201d<\/p>\n

That holistic view of respect is what\u2019s helped the Bridges family navigate fame while remaining grounded. It\u2019s also why Beau, even after 70 years in the business, continues to approach each new role with gratitude and curiosity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI keep getting informed with every job I do, watching other people do it,\u201d Beau shared in another interview. \u201cProbably more than anything would be gained even more of a respect for the whole idea of storytelling than I had when I first began\u2026 I really appreciate being able to be a part of that whole thing. That\u2019s why I really love doing it, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n
