Her manager, Barbara Lawrence, says that family surrounded her and that she went in peace.<br \/>\nRue was one of the fabulous four on the classic sitcom <em>The Golden Girls <\/em>about aging friends who made us laugh as we witnessed their trials and tribulations.  The show also featured Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur, and Betty White, who recently had a huge success on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>.<br \/>\nRue McClanahan portrayed man-loving Blanche Devereaux on <em>The Golden Girls<\/em>.
