Dennis Quaid\u2019s journey with his faith is something he\u2019s proud of. Ahead of his \u201cFallen: A Gospel Record For Sinners\u201d DVD premiere, the musician and actor told Fox News Digital that his faith has gotten him through every moment in his life. He said, \u201cIt has gotten me through hard times. It has gotten me through good times, too. Good times and gratitude. I lean on God when it comes to the hard times as well. You know, we all need that. It\u2019s something that gives me a lot of joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2018, the \u201cParent Trap\u201d star talked about his cocaine addiction, telling The Sunday Times, <\/em>\u201cI was doing about two grams a day. I was lucky. I had one of those white-light experiences where I saw myself being dead and losing everything I had worked for my whole life.\u201d Quaid told Fox News Digital that he grew up going to Sunday School, but he drifted away from religion as he got older. After he was able to get his \u2018life clean,\u201d he went back to his faith. He said, \u201c[I] read the Bible again, cover to cover, and was really struck by the words of Jesus, and that\u2019s where my personal relationship with Jesus started. That\u2019s grown over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n
