The wife of well-known psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson recently discussed on \u201cFox & Friends\u201d about how she found healing and faith after a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2019. The \u201cpressure\u201d of her health crisis motivated Tammy Peterson to start living life through \u201cspirit\u201d versus \u201cself-will,\u201d and she officially became a Catholic on Easter Sunday. She was first diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, an easy form of cancer that she said \u201cwasn\u2019t going to kill me.\u201d<\/p>\n

After her first operation, doctors found a Bellini tumor, a rare, malignant metastasis. These are usually only diagnosed after someone passes away, she said, and doctors gave her 10 months to live. She told host Will Cain, \u201c[It was] a much more aggressive cancer in my kidney that pretty much kills everyone. It grows so fast. They don\u2019t diagnose this and they, and they don\u2019t have any treatment for it.\u201d She previously told\u00a0The Catholic News Agency<\/em>\u00a0that seeing her son\u2019s grief at the news made her realize that she \u201cwas worthy\u201d of fighting for her life. She decided that only \u201cGod will decide when I am going to die.\u201d<\/p>\n
