This is a really cool story with heartwarming ending. <\/p>\n

A pup somehow wandered onto Poland’s Vistula River and ended up on an ice floe about 18 miles out to sea. <\/p>\n

He’d been spotted along the river earlier by firemen, but they could not reach him. The hero  crew of a boat called Baltica was able to save him from a below zero fridgid fate. <\/p>\n

When the sailors first spotted the odd sight of a dog on an ice floe, they thought he was a seal. Upon closer study they realized he man’s best friend–but looking mighty lost. <\/p>\n

The sailors are now searching for the dogs owner.<\/p>\n
