The veteran Philadelphia Eagles center participated in the 16th annual Mike\u2019s Seafood 5K Run\/Walk for Autism in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, to raise money for autism. He finished the race shortly after the 43-minute mark.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nicholas Huba of the <em>Press Atlantic City, <\/em>the yearly event \u201craises money for the families of children with special needs, autism support groups and special services schools.\u201d The cause is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/inside-jason-and-kylie-kelces-connection-to-eagles-autism-foundation\/\">important to Kelce<\/a>\u00a0and his family as he, his wife, Kylie, and his mother, Donna, have all been involved with the Eagles Autism Foundation since it was founded in 2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Jason Kelce ran a 5K to raise money for autism. ?<\/p>\n<p>(via mikesrunwalkforautism\/ig) <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VBPIE3FRXi\">pic.twitter.com\/VBPIE3FRXi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 FOX Sports: NFL (@NFLonFOX) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NFLonFOX\/status\/1760473471094771988?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 22, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kelce is well known in the Sea Isle community as he has served as a guest bartender at one of the local restaurants the past three summers to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation, according to Huba.<\/p>\n<p>Kelce hasn\u2019t officially announced his retirement from the NFL, though ESPN\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/39320253\/jason-kelce-tells-eagles-teammates-retiring-sources-say\">Adam Schefter<\/a> reported in January that the Super Bowl champion and seven-time Pro Bowler informed his teammates that he would be hanging up the cleats.
