After struggling with her mental health, one Kentucky high schooler decided to help herself and her classmates turn to God in trying times, one sticky note at a time. Sophy Jones told WKYT-TV, \u201cOur school, along with the middle school, has struggled with suicide, and a lot of people struggle with their mental health,\u201d referring to her school, Whitley County High.<\/p>\n

After seeing a trend on TikTok, the teenager decided to start a prayer wall in her high school. She said the walls were created to \u201chelp spread God\u2019s Word\u201d to those who need encouragement. Many of the Bible verses written on sticky notes lining the girls\u2019 bathroom walls are passages that made a significant difference in Jones\u2019 own life. She told the local news outlet, \u201cGod saved me.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Jones said of her vision for the prayer wall, \u201cPeople can just write down a Bible verse or, like \u2018Jesus loves you,\u2019 for example, and you can either take it with you if you want to keep it as a note; you can repost other ones. They could take that verse and say they want to read it, or we do have Chromebooks at school so that they can Google the verse.\u201d She started the ministry of sorts late last year, and it\u2019s already having a positive impact.<\/p>\n
