She wrote, \u201cBest day of my life\u201d on the first photo, and \u201cMy greatest success in life is to offer my life to serve Jesus\u201d on the last.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/haileyvanlith\/\">Her Instagram bio includes 1 Peter 5:6<\/a>, which says, \u201cSo humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor.\u201d As a recent transfer from the University of Louisville, Van Lith is ready to make her mark with her new team, the LSU Tigers, who were recent Women\u2019s NCAA Division 1 National Champions.<\/p>\n<p>After a critical loss to Iowa, Van Lith shared what motivates her <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BleacherReport\/status\/1640484464597037057?ref_src=twsrc%255Etfw%257Ctwcamp%255Etweetembed%257Ctwterm%255E1640484464597037057%257Ctwgr%255E3c71480d88f78e4d61ed3a78ad195ad39b8632cd%257Ctwcon%255Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/hailey-van-lith-motivation-god-honorable-mention\/\">during a post-game interview<\/a>. She said, \u201cI\u2019ll be completely honest; I\u2019m not motivated by external factors. I\u2019m motivated by myself, and I always have been. If we would\u2019ve won the national championship this year, I would\u2019ve had the same amount of motivation in me, and that\u2019s just who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cI\u2019m not motivated at all by the fact that they named me honorable mention. I know who I am, and I know what God thinks I am. God doesn\u2019t think I\u2019m an honorable mention; I\u2019ll tell you that right now. I don\u2019t need external motivation. I\u2019m internally motivated.\u201d Additionally, Van Lith gave God the glory after graduating from Louisville.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d2245f-L2Hs?si=I2Uu0crsclp68VKw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>She said in an Instagram post, \u201cThis moment is to glorify God in all of His goodness. He is the one true love. Isaiah 41:9-10, \u2018I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, \u201cYou are my servant\u201d; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cole Claybourn with Sports Spectrum\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sportsspectrum.com\/sport\/basketball\/2023\/08\/15\/hailey-van-lith-baptized-offer-life-serve-jesus\/\">wrote<\/a>, \u201cVan Lith averaged 19.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game last season at Louisville. This summer, she helped Team USA win the gold medal in the 3-on-3 FIBA World Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cA likely top-10 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Van Lith emerged as one of the best players in the country and decided to transfer to LSU after graduating from Louisville. Her presence, along with star Angel Reese, makes the Tigers the likely favorite to win the national championship next season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baptism is a sacred entity in the Christian faith. It means cleansing yourself of your sins to give yourself to God entirely.
