Jamie Foxx says he has \u201cbig\u201d things ahead three months after suffering from a medical complication. The 55-year-old Oscar winner recently posted a photo on Instagram, captioned, \u201cThankful for my @betmgm family and a great few nights in Vegas. We got BIG things coming soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foxx was in Nevada working on a campaign with BetMGM, a sports betting company linked with MGM Resorts. Foxx will star in the company\u2019s commercials for football season and beyond. This update comes after Foxx broke his silence with a May 3 Instagram post<\/a> telling fans, \u201cAppreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before that, his daughter Corinne Foxx announced that her father \u201cexperienced a medical complication\u201d on April 11 while in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie \u201cBack in Action,\u201d which also stars Cameron Diaz. At the time, she shared that \u201cdue to quick action and great care,\u201d Foxx was recovering at that point. Then, on May 12, Corrine shared another update on Foxx\u2019s condition, denying reports that the family was preparing for the worst. On Instagram, she shared that the actor had been \u201cout of the hospital for weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

She wrote, \u201cUpdate from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday.\u201d Foxx was recently spotted playing pickleball again, appearing in good spirits as he and a friend faced off in a doubles match against two opponents.<\/p>\n
