Staff Sgt. Marcus Gilbert explained, \u201cWe hail from North Carolina. We represent the 19,000 men and women that support and serve the Airborne division.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FRqXKRvEszI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He said the ensemble was on the show to \u201cwin,\u201d and the performance was explicitly dedicated to a fellow soldier who recently died.<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert continued, \u201cWe wanted to dedicate this performance. Last week, we lost one of our soldiers, Specialist Elijah Crawford. So, we\u2019re dedicating this performance to him and all the soldiers that have passed before him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The revelation visibly moved the audience, and the 82nd Airborne Chrous All-American Chorus started to sing.
