Vanessa Bryant recently took to Instagram<\/a> to share an emotional tribute for her daughter on what would have been her 17th birthday. She shared multiple posts with photos of Gigi, the first one with the caption, “Happy 17th birthday, baby girl. I love you and miss you so much, sweet Angel.” In the second post, Vanessa captioned the photo, “Happy birthday, sweet Gigi! We love you to the moon and back infinity +1. Forever & Always.”<\/p>\n

Vanessa began celebrating Gigi’s birthday early this year by posting a reminder that all proceeds from Kobe’s IV Protro “Mambacita” collection will go to the Mambacita Sports Foundation, which is named in honor of Gigi. She wrote, “Celebrating my Gigi. MAMBACITA #PlayGigisWay\u00a0#BirthdayPrincess\u00a05\/1\/06 Proceeds benefit\u00a0@mambamambacitasports.” Vanessa shared more details saying, “When you lace on the Kobe IV Protro ‘Mambacita’ it’s a reminder to play with joy, curiosity and competitiveness, while never taking any opportunity for granted, just like Gigi. In March, Vanessa and her three daughters, Natalia, 20, Bianka, 6, and Capri, 3, attended an emotional ceremony unveiling the handprints of Kobe Bryant at the iconic Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
