When a little girl threw a coin into a fountain to wish her mother luck on \u201cAmerican Idol,\u201d viewers likely knew they were in for a tear-jerker. Still, the show didn\u2019t disappoint. Fire Wilmore\u2019s audition, a 22-year-old exotic dancer hoping to change her life with her voice, sent viewers on an emotional rollercoaster.<\/p>\n

Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie babysat Wilmore\u2019s 4-year-old daughter Maja while she shared her life story. Her mother\u2019s drug problems led to Wilmore being placed in state custody. She ended up \u201cpregnant and alone\u201d at 18. Now, she has a goal: to get away from dancing for her daughter.<\/p>\n
