Twenty-nine-year-old Megan grew up in Illinois right across the street from her grandparents, forming a special bond with them. Her grandmother passed away from Alzheimer&#8217;s a few years back, but her 92-year-old grandfather is still with us and just as close to his granddaughter as ever. With his health declining, the two have been spending a lot of time together.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Kq8DpVQ7qc0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the TikTok video, Megan shared the heartwarming texts between her and her grandpa coordinating a sleepover. Her grandpa first wrote, &#8220;Hi Megan it\u2019s grandpa. Would you like to come over and have a sleepover? I haven&#8217;t been feeling well and miss you. We can order food and watch a mystery show. Love, grandpa.&#8221; Megan responded saying, &#8220;Yes! I\u2019ll be over around 7! Would you like me to get you something from the store or anything for dinner?&#8221; He responded, &#8220;Could you pick up applesauce?&#8221; her grandfather wrote back. &#8220;The cinnamon kind. And if you go somewhere with mash potatoes, I would like that because I have no teeth and can only eat soft things. Ha. Love you, Grandpa.&#8221; He followed up with one more text saying, &#8220;Can you bring me strawberry ice cream too?&#8221; Megan answered, saying, &#8220;Okay! I will see you soon.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That night, the pair ate the goodies that Megan brought over while they watched a mystery show before her grandpa got up to make a bed for her. He even woke up at 5:30 a.m. the next morning to see her before she left for work. Megan shared in the caption, saying, &#8220;I am thankful for my grandpa, and he will never understand how much love he truly has shown me. And more importantly, the love he showed my grandma while she was alive. I believe in love and loyalty because of this man.
