Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn revealed on Twitter<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that he and three others helped rescue a man from a burning car in Austin, TX. With the caption \u201cRight Place Right Time,\u201d Osborn shared a picture of himself and three others, identified as his Uber driver and a couple he was riding with, saying, \u201cLast night myself and these three absolute heroes helped save a man\u2019s life by rescuing him from a vehicle up in flames after a bad crash.\u201d Osborn stated in his tweet that he believed God had used him and the three others to save the man and that God would \u201csend his angels to be camped around you and provide you with his grace and mercy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Osborn talked more about what led to the event on \u201cThe Adam Schefter Podcast<\/span><\/a>.\u201d He revealed he had been in Austin training and had planned a night out with his trainer, Detroit Lions running back D\u2019Andre Swift and others. He described it as \u201ca situation that I never imagined myself in a billion years\u201d and that he was on his way home when \u201cMy Uber driver just starts going crazy. He\u2019s like, \u2018Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!\u2019 I look up, and I\u2019m wondering what\u2019s all the fuss about, and there\u2019s nobody on the street. He\u2019s like, \u2018This guy crashed,\u2019 and I look to my right, and there\u2019s a car, if you were to picture it, under a bridge\u2019s pillars. His car is head-on. He hit the pillar, and his car is in flames.\u201d Stating that his Uber driver was also a hero along with the other passengers, Osborn said the driver pulled over and prepared to call 911. However, assessing the danger of the situation, Osborn decided they needed to pull the driver out immediately. The Uber driver went up to the car to see if the other driver was alive, and then they all coaxed him over to the passenger side, where Osborn was able to pull him out and carry him about 10-15 yards from the vehicle. The ambulance and fire department arrived, and Osborn was informed that he \u201csaved that man\u2019s life\u201d as the man in the car would never have been able to get out on his own.<\/span><\/p>\n
