National Geographic Channel<\/a> joins forces with political pundit Bill O\u2019Reilly for a third time in the upcoming film adaptation of his book, \u201cKilling Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n

His previous films, “Killing Kennedy<\/a>” and “Killing Lincoln<\/a>” were the first and second-most-watched programs on the channel, respectively.<\/p>\n

It is expected for “Killing Jesus” to be just as successful, with a talented, diverse cast chronicling the life of Jesus.<\/p>\n

Kelsey Grammer takes on the role of King Herod, the Roman Judean King that sought to kill Jesus at birth. Lebanese actor, Haaz Sleiman, best known for his role in the 2008 indie film \u201cThe Visitor,\u201d will play the title role of Jesus.<\/p>\n

Stephen Moyer from\u00a0the HBO show, \u201cTrue Blood,\u201d will portray Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor who ordered the crucifixion of Jesus.<\/p>\n

Rufus Sewell (\u201cHercules\u201d) John Rhys Davies (\u201cLord of the Rings,\u201d\u00a0\u201cIndian Jones\u201d), Emmanuelle Chriqui (\u201cEntourage\u201d) and Stephanie Leonidas (\u201cDefiance\u201d) are also starring in the upcoming film.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe film Killing Jesus will break new ground in chronicling the life of the most famous human being who ever lived,\u201d said O\u2019Reilly in a recent press release. \u201cThe superb cast and script reflect much thought and research. Viewers are in for something very different and very special.\u201d<\/p>\n
