Song of the New Earth\u00a0made its World Premiere at the 40th Annual Seattle International Film Festival<\/em> to a sold out audience and was an official selection of the Illuminate <\/em>Film Festival in Sedona last week.<\/p>\n

The award winning production team features Director Ward Serrill, Editor Eric Frith and New York Times<\/em> animator Drew Christie and Producer Betsy Chasse.<\/p>\n

Song of the New Earth provides viewers\u00a0with a distinctive and intimate portrait of Kenyon\u2019s quirky yet rare talent\u2014as a\u00a0self proclaimed neo-pagan \u2013 Taoist – Tibetan Buddhist \u2013 agnostic – quantum physicist \u2013 mystic\u2014 he transcends conventional musical forms by chanting or “toning” using his nearly four octave range voice that takes audiences on sound journeys to deeper states of consciousness.<\/p>\n

As an aspiring country musician, Tom Kenyon was on way to fame and fortune when a series of mystical experiences rocked his world. Desperate to understand his experience, he fervently dove into the study of Neurophysiology to explore his unexplainable spiritual insights and became an expert in the world\u2019s spiritual traditions; Tibetan Buddhism, Yoga, Taoism, mystical Christianity, Shamanism, and Egyptian alchemy and more.<\/p>\n

From his home in the San Juan Islands to Tibetan nunneries in the Himalayas, from cathedrals and mysterious caves in southern France to the golden-chandeliered symphony halls of Vienna, Song of the New Earth explores the cutting edge scientific research proving that sound shifts brain states and can promote dramatic healing not only for ourselves but for our precious planet earth.<\/p>\n

Often with his wife Judi by his side, Kenyon explains how sound vibration speaks to our souls and bodies by opening a door that bridges our cognitive thinking; catapulting us towards often discovering the miraculous.
