NBC does, I don&#8217;t,\u201d\u00a0said Leno. He joked,\u00a0\u201cWell, tonight is our last show for real. I don\u2019t need to get fired three times, I get the hint.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 1992, Billy Crystal was Leno&#8217;s first interview therefore it only seemed fitting that he be the last. \u201cYou were America&#8217;s nightlight. You helped us through good times and bad,\u201d said Crystal, who sang \u201cSo Long Farewell\u201d from the \u201cSound of Music.\u201d<br \/>\nThe goodbyes ranged from Sandra Bullock, Garth Brooks, Mark Wahlberg, Oprah and a great many other celebrities and legends.<\/p>\n<p>In his farewell speech Leno\u00a0said that many\u00a0people have asked him why doesn&#8217;t he go to another network. After losing his mother, father and brother Leno said that he considers the NBC staff his family. Leno said he couldn&#8217;t imagine being with any other group of people.<\/p>\n<p>Jimmy Fallon will take over The Tonight Show on February 17, 2014.
