<\/span><\/strong>So who won American Idol?<\/p>\n

After montages and recaps and special performances galore (Tony Bennett, Tim McGraw, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, and even Bono and the Edge!), America’s 10th American Idol has finally been crowned: Scotty McCreery<\/strong>. He managed to beat out the likes of James Durbin, Haley Reinhart, and Casey Abrams over the course of the season to stand victorious on tonight’s stage. Congratulations, Scotty!<\/p>\n

It’s been a rollercoaster of a season but not nearly the failure that I thought it would be minus Simon Cowell. Steven Tyler, in a unique and interesting way, filled the void that Simon left, and I hope he comes back for further seasons.<\/p>\n
