The rising NFL star is earning praise for both his strong play and a touching display of faith and compassion after stopping to pray for an injured opponent during Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The moment unfolded during Carolina’s 25-14 victory over Philadelphia. As Young walked back toward his huddle, he noticed an Eagles player receiving medical attention on the field. Rather than continuing toward his teammates, the 25-year-old quarterback stopped, bowed his head and prayed for several seconds.

The gesture quickly spread across social media, with fans praising Young for putting another player’s well-being ahead of the competition.

“Bryce Young IMMEDIATELY praying for another player is just another reason you will never see me speak ill of this man.
