Actor Chad Lowe and his wife, producer Kim Painter, are mourning the heartbreaking death of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe.<\/p>\n

The couple confirmed Fiona\u2019s death in a statement Tuesday, remembering their daughter as a bright and creative teenager who brought tremendous joy to their family.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,\u201d the family said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,\u201d they continued. \u201cShe was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family did not publicly disclose a cause of death. They asked for prayers as they grieve the devastating loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

Lowe, 58, and Painter, 52, are also parents to daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, is known for roles in \u201cLife Goes On,\u201d \u201cPretty Little Liars\u201d and \u201cSupergirl.\u201d He won an Emmy Award in 1993 for his performance in \u201cLife Goes On.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiona had celebrated her 13th birthday in November 2025. At the time, Lowe shared a joyful tribute to his daughter on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cCelebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!!\u201d he wrote. \u201cKeep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The family had already endured significant loss in early 2025 when their home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades Fire. Lowe later shared photos of his daughters returning to what remained of the house where they had grown up.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way they\u2019ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cI am in awe of their spirit and resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same post, Lowe reflected on how much fatherhood meant to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHelping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose,\u201d he wrote. \u201cBeing their dad is my life\u2019s greatest joy and privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, the Lowe family is asking for prayers as they face an unimaginable loss.<\/p>\n

Their statement also encouraged anyone struggling with mental health or emotional distress to seek help through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.<\/p>\n

Fiona is survived by her parents and her sisters, Mabel and Nixie.
