Country star Ella Langley is celebrating one of the biggest milestones of her career, but she’s making it clear where she believes the credit belongs.<\/p>\n

The “Dandelion” singer earned nine nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, tying the record for the most nominations received by a female artist in a single year. According to Billboard, Langley’s nine nods put her alongside Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris, who previously reached the same mark.<\/p>\n

But while performing in New Jersey last week, Langley took a moment onstage to reflect on her rapid rise in country music and publicly thank God for how far she has come.<\/p>\n

“God has been so good to me, has been just so, so good to me,” Langley told the crowd, according to Whiskey Riff.<\/p>\n

The Alabama native then reflected on her journey from a small town to becoming one of country music’s most recognized rising stars.<\/p>\n

“I’m just a poor girl from a small town with a big dream. Pretty cliche, I know, but it’s true,” she said.<\/p>\n

Langley also acknowledged that her journey hasn’t been perfect, admitting she has made plenty of mistakes along the way.<\/p>\n

“I’ve done countless things. Ridiculous, dumb things in my life,” she told the audience. “I don’t feel like I always deserve it, but I am so grateful that I’ve been given the opportunity to stand up here and sing songs that I love.”<\/p>\n

Langley’s comments came as she reflected not only on the awards recognition but also on the connection she has developed with fans through her music.<\/p>\n

“I get to write songs that mean something to me, and then I get to watch a crowd of people that means something to them,” she said. “It means something to you. So, thank you. Thank you for listening.”<\/p>\n

The nine CMA nominations add to what has already been a breakout period for Langley. Her growing profile has been fueled by successful releases, collaborations and a fan base that has helped propel her into country music’s spotlight.<\/p>\n

Yet amid the accolades, Langley’s message to the crowd was less about trophies and more about gratitude.<\/p>\n

For the singer who once had a big dream in a small Alabama town, reaching one of country music’s biggest stages appears to have given her another reason to acknowledge her faith publicly.<\/p>\n
