Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially husband and wife.<\/p>\n

The global pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, exchanged vows on July 3 during a glamorous wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, according to PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple’s wedding blended elegance with family, friendship, and personal touches. According to a statement shared with PEOPLE, “The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture.” The statement added that the designs were created by Jonathan Anderson in collaboration with the couple, marking “the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.”<\/p>\n

Swift completed her bridal look with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry.<\/p>\n

Rather than having traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, the newlyweds chose family members to stand beside them. Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “Man of Honor,” while Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, was his Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by actor and longtime friend Adam Sandler.<\/p>\n

The celebration began the night before with an intimate rehearsal dinner inside Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theatre. Guests included Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Selena Gomez, Erin Andrews, Bradley Cooper, and several close friends and family members.<\/p>\n

In the days leading up to the ceremony, the iconic venue underwent an incredible transformation. Trucks carrying equipment, grass, and elaborate decorations were spotted outside the arena, while boxes labeled “Garden Party” and “Mirror Ball” fueled speculation about the wedding theme. One source told PEOPLE they had “never seen” Madison Square Garden “look so different.”<\/p>\n

The couple also marked the occasion by giving back. A representative for Swift told PEOPLE that the pair donated $26 million to charitable organizations during wedding week, including Feeding America, the ASPCA, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.<\/p>\n

Their wedding comes nearly a year after announcing their engagement in August 2025. Swift shared the news with fans on Instagram alongside photos of Kelce’s garden proposal, joking in the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”<\/p>\n

The couple’s romance began in the summer of 2023 after Kelce famously revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during one of her Eras Tour concerts. Although that first attempt didn’t work out, fate\u2014and a little help from Swift’s mother\u2014brought them together.<\/p>\n

Andrea Swift later recalled hearing about Kelce’s interest and asking a relative about him. The response immediately caught her attention.<\/p>\n

“‘Oh my God, he is the nicest guy! And he really loves his mom,'” Andrea remembered being told. Laughing, she said her reaction was, “‘Ding, ding, ding, ding.'”<\/p>\n

Over the past three years, the pair have frequently spoken about their admiration for one another. At the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, Swift praised Kelce during an acceptance speech, saying, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.”<\/p>\n

Months later, while appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Swift called Kelce “the love of my life” as she reflected on their engagement.<\/p>\n

Kelce has been equally open about their relationship. In a previous interview with WSJ. Magazine, he admitted dating someone with Swift’s level of fame was unlike anything he had experienced but praised the way she handles constant public attention.<\/p>\n

“But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it,” Kelce said. “She’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting all strange.”<\/p>\n

Just days before the wedding, Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, shared his excitement for the couple’s big day, calling his future daughter-in-law “a sweetheart” and adding, “That is truly the girl next door.”<\/p>\n
