Clint Lowery is boldly giving glory to God after wrapping up a successful tour with his rock band Sevendust, sharing a powerful testimony about faith, restoration and discovering that a relationship with Jesus brought him the fulfillment he spent years searching for in fame and success.<\/p>\n

In a heartfelt Instagram post<\/a>, the 54-year-old guitarist reflected on Sevendust’s recent “ONE” tour and the spiritual perspective he now carries after publicly identifying himself earlier this year as a “saved Christian.”<\/p>\n

“We had tons of laughs, we had some falls on stage, some cuts and bruises. Some good and bad days,” Lowery wrote while looking back on the tour experience.<\/p>\n

After thanking fans, venues and the crew who helped make the tour possible, Lowery pointed to what he called the most important part of it all: God.<\/p>\n

“The creator” was “the main thing in all of this,” he wrote, later describing God and Jesus Christ as “the one who makes life possible” and “the truth.”<\/p>\n

“I see God in all of this,” Lowery continued. “Every tour has had a version of all of this, but I truly see God and give him the glory in it ALL. Jesus loves me, he loves you. I’ve yet to find anything in my pursuit of ‘happiness’ that has fulfilled me the way he does.”<\/p>\n

The longtime rock musician then opened up about the years spent chasing temporary satisfaction through worldly pursuits.<\/p>\n

“Chased drugs, money, alcohol, fame, lust, popularity, anything I could to fill the void,” he admitted. “Even in sobriety, I made some improvements but still stuck in self.”<\/p>\n

Lowery said his relationship with Christ has transformed the way he sees both himself and others.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t know how to truly love others without some type of condition,” he shared. “Except my wife and kids. That I always did effortlessly.”<\/p>\n

The guitarist also expressed gratitude for the longevity of his career and said he now sees God’s hand in sustaining him through decades in the music industry.<\/p>\n

“Thank you for gifting us with longevity, a career long enough to FINALLY see you in it,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

Lowery acknowledged that seasons of success do not last forever, but said his current focus is simply gratitude for God’s forgiveness and restoration.<\/p>\n

“This good wave we are riding, this too shall pass,” he wrote. “But for today, in the absolute present, thank your scripture, your forgiveness, your restoration you’ve given me, to repent and know you are God.”<\/p>\n

He concluded the message with a direct declaration of faith and encouragement to his followers: “I love you, Jesus, I love whoever is reading this.”<\/p>\n

Lowery first revealed his spiritual transformation<\/a> publicly in March 2025, telling fans he had completed his first tour “as a saved Christian.”<\/p>\n

At the time, he said he was still “building” his relationship with Christ and admitted he remained “a sinner, flawed and broken,” but described the spiritual growth he experienced on tour as life-changing.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been able to see the world through a biblical lens,” Lowery wrote at the time. “It’s been the most profound and spiritual tour I’ve done in my career.”<\/p>\n

He said he approached the tour with “less self-will and more of [God’s] will.”<\/p>\n

Photos accompanying that earlier post showed wristbands featuring Epistle to the Romans 8:14, along with the phrases “Trust God” and “Warrior,” which Lowery described as reminders during moments of fear and darkness.<\/p>\n

“God made the way,” he wrote. “I know he did.”<\/p>\n

While Lowery emphasized that he does not want to “boast” or preach from a “soapbox,” his testimony has resonated with many fans who have followed his sobriety journey and career over the years.<\/p>\n
