Nearly a year after the death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, his daughter Brooke Hogan is sharing an emotional and deeply personal look at the grief she continues to carry \u2014 including the painful feeling that she might have been able to save him.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Fox News Digital<\/em> while promoting the new season of “Rock the Block,” Brooke revealed that the loss of her father still weighs heavily on her heart.<\/p>\n

“I talk to my dad every day and\u2026 I’m like, \u2018What in the heck were you doing? I just wish I was there because you would still be here today,\u2019” she said. “I have this feeling in me that, like, I could have saved you.”<\/p>\n

Still, she acknowledged the deeper truth behind that grief, adding, \u201cIf love would have saved you, you’d be alive today because of how much love I have for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died on July 24, 2025, at age 71 after suffering a cardiac event at his Florida home. At the time of his death, Brooke and her father were estranged \u2014 something she says continues to leave her with unanswered questions.<\/p>\n

“And the only thing that sucks is that I just will never have answers. I’ll never get to ask the questions I wanted to ask,” she admitted. “I tried even when he was alive\u2026 he didn’t ever want to be soft.”<\/p>\n

Despite that distance, Brooke says her connection to her father hasn\u2019t disappeared. In fact, she believes it has taken on a new form.<\/p>\n

“I’m so glad you’re out of pain,” she said when asked what she would tell him today. “He was in so much pain, so much pain. And I’m glad that I get to have\u2026 almost an even better relationship with him now, where I can, like, talk to him honestly.”<\/p>\n

She also shared that she still speaks to him regularly.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m honest with him now, and I talk to him all the time, even if that seems like I\u2019m a cuckoo bird,” she said. “If he showed up today, I would just be like, \u2018I love you so much, and I wish you would have just let me in.\u2019”<\/p>\n

That lingering pain has followed her into her professional life as well. While filming “Rock the Block,” Brooke found herself reflecting on whether her father ever fully understood the life she built on her own.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think he ever really understood the business that I had built,” she said. “I don’t really think he fully understood just how hard it was to build from the ground up with nobody’s help by myself.”<\/p>\n

Brooke, who launched her interior design firm BB Designs by Brooke in 2018, described landing the HGTV show as a major milestone \u2014 one she wishes her father could have fully appreciated.<\/p>\n

“In that moment I was like, \u2018I wonder if he knows what a big deal this is,\u2019” she said.<\/p>\n

Her co-star, Scott McGillivray, said he saw firsthand the emotional weight she carried during filming.<\/p>\n

“There was a lot of times in our house where Brooke and I got into some pretty heavy conversations,” he shared. “I think people are going to see more than just the renovation \u2014 they’re going to see people transformations as well.”<\/p>\n

As Brooke navigates this new season of life \u2014 both on and off screen \u2014 she continues to wrestle with grief, love, and the things left unsaid. But through it all, one message remains clear: her bond with her father, though complicated, never truly faded.<\/p>\n
