Miley Cyrus is officially in her \u201cFlowers\u201d era \u2014 and this time, love is in full bloom.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old pop star is engaged to musician Maxx Morando, according to multiple sources. The exciting news comes after Cyrus was spotted at the Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/em> world premiere in Los Angeles on Dec. 1, where fans couldn\u2019t help but notice a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand. The couple posed together on the red carpet, and the glitzy ring quickly became the talk of the night.<\/p>\n

According to jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche\u2019s rep Francesca Simons, the ring is a \u201cbespoke\u201d design featuring a cushion-cut diamond set on a thick 14-karat yellow gold band \u2014 a modern yet timeless choice fitting for the ever-evolving artist.<\/p>\n

Cyrus and Morando, 27, have been together for four years. They were first linked in late 2021 after being spotted getting cozy backstage during Cyrus\u2019 NBC holiday special Miley\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve Party<\/em> in Miami. By April 2022, they had seemingly confirmed their romance when they were photographed sharing a kiss in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n

In a June 2023 interview with British Vogue<\/em>, Cyrus revealed the two first met on a blind date. \u201cWe got put on a blind date,\u201d she said. \u201cWell, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, \u2018The worst that can happen is I leave.\u2019\u201d Clearly, the risk paid off.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s six-year age difference hasn\u2019t fazed them. Cyrus told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em> in November 2024 that their relationship works because they \u201cjust don\u2019t take life too seriously.\u201d She laughed about how Morando is more of a digital native: \u201cHe grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters. Honestly, he\u2019s raised our dog off Reddit.\u201d<\/p>\n

By March 2024, the pair had reportedly moved in together. A source told PEOPLE<\/em>, \u201cShe is very happy with him. Miley has changed a lot in the past couple of years. She seems calmer and harmonious. Everyone loves Maxx. He\u2019s a great guy. He\u2019s private and doesn\u2019t like being in the press. It\u2019s been good for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus has been open about what she values in her relationship. In a September conversation with The Cut,<\/em> she reflected on the lessons she had learned from her past romances. \u201cI ended up with a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me,\u201d she said. \u201cI had to find someone who treats me with respect\u2026 My man\u2019s hot as hell \u2026 but my man also respects me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their bond extends beyond romance \u2014 it\u2019s creative, too. Morando, who plays drums for the band Liily, collaborated on several of Cyrus\u2019 songs, including \u201cHandstand\u201d and \u201cViolet Chemistry\u201d from her “Endless Summer Vacation” album. He also co-produced tracks on her ninth album, “Something Beautiful.”<\/p>\n

When Cyrus accepted the 2024 Grammy for Record of the Year for \u201cFlowers,\u201d she gave a heartfelt shout-out to her now-fianc\u00e9, calling him \u201cmy love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth from December 2018 to August 2019.<\/p>\n
