Christian singer Kirbi, a 24-year-old from Florence, Alabama, wowed<\/a> the judges and audience alike on a recent episode of The Voice<\/em> with her emotional performance of “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” a song by Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll that celebrates redemption and faith through life’s struggles.<\/p>\n

Performing for Team Niall, Kirbi\u2014whose real name is Savanna Kirby\u2014secured her place in the playoffs after delivering one of the most talked-about performances of the night. “Singing ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ on that stage was an experience I can’t put into words,” she shared<\/a> on Instagram after the episode. “That song means something deep to me, and to a lot of others, which is one reason I chose to sing it.” She added, “Wow. I feel so blessed to have made it to this point.”<\/p>\n

Her coach, Niall Horan, was blown away by the performance. “I feel like I’m gonna pass out,” he said with a laugh. “That was your best performance to date, without a shadow of a doubt. Kirbi’s faith has been front and center throughout her Voice<\/em> journey. Earlier this season, she turned all four chairs during her blind audition with a stunning rendition of for KING + COUNTRY’s Grammy-winning song “God Only Knows.” Later, during the Battles round, she performed Lauren Daigle’s “You Say,” sharing afterward, “The message of this song hit me hard. God has been so good and gracious to me when I don’t show myself the same grace. Thank you, Jesus, for bringing me this far.”<\/p>\n

Originally from Alabama, Kirbi relocated to Nashville in 2023 to pursue a full-time career in music. Her Christian faith continues to guide her songwriting and performances, resonating with audiences who appreciate her authenticity and devotion.<\/p>\n

Kirbi’s journey reflects a growing trend on The Voice<\/em>, where faith-based songs and openly Christian artists are increasingly in the spotlight.
